Born in Kedah, Malaysia, in 1962, Zulkifli Yusoff obtained a Diploma from Mara Institute of Technology (ITM) and an MA from Polytechnic Faculty of Art and Design, UK. He lectured at ITM from 1991 to 1994 and subsequently became a full-time artist. His artworks comment on social and political issues. An expressive painter, he experiments with all kinds of media and is particularly known for his sculptural installations.
