Chettiar Chamber of Commerce Annual Report, 1935

The Chettiar Chamber of Commerce was an independent institution that monitored the money lending business. From 1931, its members gathered weekly at the Sri Thandayuthapani Temple at Tank Road to determine interest rates for the following week.
