At this syncretic temple that embraces all three basic religions the Chinese traditionally practise, more than one deity is honoured on its altar, with the one in the middle – Yu Huang Shang Di in this case – the most important. Being the supreme deity of Taoism, Yu Huang Shang Di is worshipped in both Taoist and syncretic temples.
