This pair of chopsticks is branded with the characters “首都雪园” (Shou Dou Xue Yuan, Capitol Snow Garden) and the Shaw Brothers logo. The chopsticks were used at the Snow Garden Restaurant (雪园大酒楼), located at the Capitol Theatre. Snow Garden Restaurant served dim sum and Cantonese cuisine. The restaurant was in operation during the 1950s, after the Shaw Organisation bought over the Capitol Theatre and Capitol Building in 1946.
