This is a Singapore Turf Club landmark evolution coasters set commemorating the 180th anniversary of the Singapore Turf Club (STC). The four coasters depict the Farrer Park Grandstand, Bukit Timah Grandstand, Kranji Grandstand and Kranji Racecourse respectively. It was a door gift for VIP guests at the Grand Singapore Gold Cup, the club’s final race on 5 October 2024.The Singapore Turf Club, initially known as the Singapore Sporting Club, was founded in 1842 and was located at Farrer Park, organising horse racing events. It moved to Bukit Timah in 1933, followed by Kranji in 1999. The club’s final race meeting, ending with the Grand Singapore Gold Cup, was held on 5 October 2024, ahead of the closure of the club and return of the racecourse site to the government in 2027.
