This poster was issued by the Federated Malay Railways in their efforts to encourage travel through the peninsula and Singapore by rail. The train line ran day and night express trains, with dining cars, sleepers and electric fans. Its route was also extensive, covering the key towns along the western coast of Malaya, down to Singapore.
