This is an iPod nano (7th generation), which was a portable digital media player released in 2015. The iPod was a series of portable digital media players introduced by Apple in 2001, popular for their innovative design and user interface, globally and in Singapore. Users were able to store digital media files on the device and play them, unlike earlier portable cassette tape and CD players. The iPod nano was introduced in 2005 as a more compact version of the iPod. It was eventually discontinued in 2017 as users increasingly used smartphones to play and stream media when on the go. The donor used the iPod nano player for listening to music while travelling.
