This photographic series by Bob Lee features portraits of eight food hawkers posing in front of their stalls holding takeaway packets of the food they are selling, taken during Singapore's circuit breaker lockdown period in 2020 during the global COVID-19 pandemic. These portraits are paired with images of the cordoned off tables and seats at the respective hawker centres, document a period in which dining in at hawker centres in Singapore was disallowed, with only takeaway options possible.
