This is an advertisement for Lai Wah Embroideries (Li Hua Xiu Zhuang丽华秀莊), an embroidery shop located at 12 Neil Road. The shop offered a wide variety of sewing and embroidery services, ranging from wedding gowns to modern and stage show dresses. The poster prominently features an illustration of a woman dressed in a cheongsam, with a curly updo hairstyle. This fashion style was trendy in the 1960s amongst Chinese women, as it symbolised modernity. Many Chinese women during that era would send their cheongsams for embroidery to add more colour to their outfits to seem more modern.
