This photograph shows Indonesian domestic helper Sri Indarsih Darsan back home in her village in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Having worked in Singapore for six and a half years, Sri felt it was time to return home, especially with her parents getting old, and her younger sister also away in Singapore working as a domestic helper. After being away for a few years in a city with modern amenities such as the supermarket, Sri has had to adapt to village life again. She is seen here (left) relearning how to pluck the feathers off a chicken in preparation for a feast to celebrate her homecoming.
