Foo Tee Jun won the Cultural Medallion in Photography in 1989. He was a prominent club photographer for decades, holding numerous committee positions at the PSS and acting as a salon judge for many competitions. This work is representative of the type of photographs popular among the club photographers of the time , emphasising photographic technique, composition and decorative elements. This photograph shows a man setting up a tent; Foo uses the lines of the tent to create an abstract and interesting pattern.
