This programme is of Robert Yeo’s 1974 play, “Are You There, Singapore?” Robert Yeo is an award-winning Singapore playwright whose most impressive work is a trilogy of plays, of which “Are You There, Singapore?” was the first of the series. Robert Yeo is a Peranakan playwright and close contemporary and friend of Stella Kon. His work was a significant play in the development of the Singapore English language theatre scene.
