This cheongsam with a blue leaf motif all over has a nipped in waist which is typical of the 1950s Western silhouette.In the 1950s and early 1960s, socialites and film stars such as Lin Dai were often spotted in the latest designs of cheongsam. The garment was at its most stylish and was most commonly worn at functions in Singapore.
