The photograph is part of an album which consists of photographs related to the activities of The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (R.A.O.B.) as well as the sights and scenes of Singapore and Malaysia.Construction on the Singapore-Johor Causeway started in 1919 and it was officially opened by Governor and High Commissioner, Sir Laurence Guillemard, on 28 June 1924. The Causeway links Singapore to Malaysia and remains in operation today.
