This beautiful cane chair, which carries the maker's lable shows it came from Chinese Rattan Furniture, 123 Victoria Street.It shows highly skilled craftsmanship.It was designed by an American ladey, who was a friend of the donor's. The chair reveals the technique of bending the cane and plaiting/ weaving.
