This sleeveless grey blouse with a mandarin collar is plain and almost austere in design. Strict lines are used to create a cleanly-cut figure. Narciso Rodriguez is a Cuban-American designer. He attended the famous Parsons School of Fashion in New York and graduated in 1982. Initially a freelance designer, he found a position as the Women’s Design Director at Anne Klein and later worked at Calvin Klein and Cerruti. While at Cerruti, he gained prominence after designing Carolyn Bessette’s bridal dress for her wedding to John F. Kennedy Jr. in 1996 and left subsequently to launch his eponymous label in 1997. Rodriguez also created a line of women’s fragrance in 2003 and another for men in 2007. His clients include actresses such as Salma Hayek, Sarah Jessica Parker, as well as US First Lady Michelle Obama.
