This bangle is simple in design compared to other bracelets of the same period. It was made without a clasp, and its body, comprising of a thin gold bar, stands in stark contrast to other clay or resin core bracelets with elaborate gold repoussé design. This bracelet of thin gold bar belongs to the period in Java when gold was already fashioned into personal adornment, religious items, and money.
