This medicine bottle belonged to Yeo Yee Chee Chinese Medical Hall, which was set up in 1911 by a Chinese physician Yeo Yee Chee. Its first shop was located at Pickering Street. Due to government redevelopment plans, it later moved to Upper Cross Street and then New Bridge Road. Its "Toad" brand medicine is a common household name among the older folks.
