This uniform, known as the Temasek Green uniform, was worn by soldiers in the Singapore Armed Forces beginning in 1967. It replaced the British uniforms which had been in use until then. This uniform was issued to a full-time National Serviceman in 1972 and was retained when he became a reservist. He donned it again in 2015, when he marched with the Singapore Armed Forces Veterans' League contingent in the SG50 National Day Parade.
