This booklet contains the list of passengers who were on board the SS Carthage at various points during its voyage from Singapore to London in 1951. The SS Carthage was part of the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company (P&O) fleet, which was one of the prominent shipping companies in the 19th and 20th centuries that offered steamer services for mail, cargo and passengers. On this occasion, the SS Carthage departed Singapore on 6 September 1951 and stopped in Penang, Colombo, Bombay (present-day Mumbai, India), Aden, Suez and Port Said en route to London.
