Lim Chor Koon (林初君) is pictured in this photo with her students from Chung Hwa Girls' High School Primary Section (中华女子中学 (附小)). Chung Hwa Girls' High School was established in 1911 by Tay Peng Teng, Puan Yeow Pong and the Chinese community in response to Sun Yat Sen's call for schools for girls. Lim studied in the school in the 1950s and went on to teach at Chung Hwa Girls' High School in the 1960s and 1970s.
