“Henderson” published by the People’s Action Party (PAP)

Published by the PAP Henderson Branch, this booklet, which has English, Malay and Mandarin text, has an eclectic set of contents, ranging from the development of Henderson estate to cultural events such as a film premiere and National Day celebrations to general issues and a host of campaigns ongoing at the time. As such, it provides a snapshot of both the early developments of housing estates and the broader socio-political historical contexts of Singapore in the 1970s.
