This wine-red limited-edition AIWA HS-G34 cassette player was made in Singapore in the 1980s. The Japanese electronics firm opened its first factory in 1974 at Lower Delta Road, where this cassette player was likely assembled. The Lower Delta facility was followed by two more AIWA factories in Jurong in 1987 and 1988. The words “Made in Singapore” are printed on the bottom of the box and on the reverse of the cassette player itself.
