This Versace jungle print jacket was worn by American entertainer Jennifer Lopez in Versace's Spring Summer 2020 campaign. The campaign celebrated fashion's imbrication in the digital world by setting its models against a backdrop that showed projections of web search bars with the words "Jennifer Lopez Versace" typed in to reference the flood of searches that followed her first appearance in Versace's iconic jungle print dress in 2000.The jacket referenced the iconic jungle print chiffon dress worn by Lopez in the 2000 Grammy Awards, which sparked intense interest with images of Lopez in the dress downloaded from the Grammy website 642,917 times 24 hours the event. Prompted by the interest in the dress, then-CEO of Google Eric Schmidt to hire engineer Huican Zhu who worked with product manager Susan Wojcicki to build and launch Google Images in July 2001.The donor, David Tan, bought this as a women's jacket (as it was only produced as a female jacket) and sought the help of the fashion house to alter the jacket into a male jacket by swapping the buttons from the right to the left side of the jacket.
