This jacket and its matching pair of trousers were featured in the DSquared2 Spring Summer 2014 runway show. The show opened with the sound of a plane crash, and the rest of the show took place in a setting designed to evoke a jungle. The ensemble is made with a bamboo weave fabric. The use of bamboo weave in an open weave pattern echoes the woven patterns of cane and rattan used in furniture and homeware.
