The Bible Magazine: No. 220, Vol. 29

The Bible Magazine was published by the South China Alliance Press, founded by missionary Robert A. Jaffray. In 1897, the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA) sent Jaffray to Guangxi, China, to serve as a missionary, and he later became the key figure in all C&MA activities in southern China. Jaffray was the editor and writer of the Chinese-language Bible Magazine, where his articles spread across many Chinese communities in the world. Jaffray used this publication to share training materials to Cantonese missionaries and other Chinese missionaries. The goal of this magazine was to help everyone, including ordinary people and pastors, study the Bible.
