The following is a copy of A Selection of Songs from Rediffusion (《丽的呼声歌曲选》Li De Hu Sheng Ge Qu Xuan) Volume 8, which was a booklet published by popular Chinese radio station Rediffusion that catalogued the most popular songs that were playing on the radio, published on a bi-weekly basis. According to the catalogue, the most popular songs on the radio at the time were a mix of both Chinese pop songs and Chinese opera music, including the song《秋愁》(Qiu Chou, “Autumn Lamentations”) released in 1951, that was featured on the soundtrack of the popular Hong Kong film Spoiling the Wedding Day (《误佳期》Wu Jia Qi).
