This is an operating instructions booklet for a Philips television set (21PT2321) produced in the 1990s. A key feature of this model was its ability to receive teletext. Teletext was an information service that allowed users to access regularly updated information on topics such as the news and stock prices, which would be displayed on the screen in text and simple graphics. The service was introduced in Singapore by the then Singapore Broadcasting Corporation in 1983 and ceased in 2013.
