Singapore’s 25th year of independence was marked with a line-up of programmes that spanned almost the entire year. Themed “25 Years of Independence, Another 25 Years of Achievement”, there were special celebrations every month. The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) also joined in the celebrations with activities such as the Flypast at Padang with SAF’s fighter planes forming the number “25” which was captured in this photograph.
