Foo Tee Jun won the Cultural Medallion in Photography in 1989. He was a prominent club photographer for decades, holding numerous committee positions at the PSS and acting as a salon judge for many competitions. This group of works show a different aspect of Foo's photographic practice - less decorative and more documentary. The shipyards were a favourite subject matter for the club photographers. However, Foo's photograph is a rarely seen wide shot, capturing the details of the ship in the process.
