This is the manuscript memoir of the Revd Thomas Raffles, cousin of Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles. Written shortly before his death, the memoir was never printed in its entirety. It contains one full chapter dedicated to his reminiscences of Raffles, with many details of his time in England in 1816 and 1817.
