Lui Hock Seng (b. 1937) is a self-taught photographer who was active on the scene during the 1960s and 1970s. His works belong to the pictorial photography movement and his pictures largely depict the landscapes of trades of a rapidly-changing Singapore during the 1960s and 1970s. This is a self-portrait of Mr Lui, taken at Fraser & Neave (F&N) where he worked as a vehicle mechanic.
