Zulkifli Bin Mohd Dahlan (1952-1977) was a self-taught artist and a member of Anak Alam, a collective of socially-engaged Malaysian artists who produced works across the visual arts, spoken word, poetry and theatre in the 1970s. Untitled belongs to a larger collection of paper works executed in a monochromatic, graphical approach by Zulkifli Dahlan in his lifetime. His line sketches are mostly male human figures, regularly depicted unclothed, in specific interior or domestic scenes.
