This chip carousel belonged to Mr and Mrs Lee Swee Cheng. Mr Lee Swee Cheng was a prominent stockbroker and Mrs Elsie Lee served as President of the Chinese Women’s Assocation in 1961 and 1962. These chips were occasionally used in the mahjong sessions at their Pasir Panjang Hill house.
