Front porch of Matheran, Mount EchoThis photograph shows the front porch of the sub-manager of the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank. The residence was Matheran, located at the Mount Echo estate where Jervois Road joins the Tanglin Road. The photograph belonged to William Adams Oram, an inspector of branches for the bank who was probably on a short visit to Singapore.
