2 x Singapore Airlines postcard

This postcard promoted the launch of Singapore Airlines’ non-stop flight service between Singapore and the United States in 2004. Both non-stop flights to Los Angeles and New York were operated by the long-range Airbus aircraft, the A340-500. At that time, both services were the longest direct commercial flights. In 2013, the aircraft and routes were retired by Singapore Airlines.
