U&lc. Spring 1989 magazine

U&lc (shorthand for Upper and Lower Case) was one of the first publications intended specifically for the design community. It produced over 120 issues during its print run from 1970 to 1999. Prominent American graphic designer Herb Lubalin served as its art director for 11 years and he worked with designers to display and advertise the latest typefaces from International Typeface Corporation in U&lc.
