This is a hardbound compilation of piano sheet music bearing the armorial booklate of Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles. Contained within is a page bearing his wife Sophia's handwritten playlist, possibly of her favourite songs. Lady Sophia Raffles, who married Sir Stamford Raffles in 1817, was an accomplished pianist.
