Miscellaneous scraps of paper from P.O.W James Steele Archives (30 pieces)

Loose papers from the James Steele, P.O.W archive that include a symbolic drawing, Japanese banana money, map of camp, administrative papers from Changi prison pre-dating internment, list of soldiers of a regiment as well as James Steele’s warrant to join the army. These papers are part of the archive of James Steele, Royal Artillery (Field) who served in Malaya from January 1941-February 1942, when interned as a P.O.W at Changi until his release in October 1945.
