The Singapore Bicycle Dealers' Association was first formed in 1932 to represent the collective interests of all bicycle dealers. Its role also includes mediation of possible disputes among dealers and to look after the welfare of its workers and/or dealers. The late Mr Loh Jin Hwee, owner of the Song Seng Chan bicycle shop, was one of the founding members of the Association, and he served as its Chairman for two terms, in 1965 and 1976.
