This graduation robe, hood and bonnet were worn by Mr. Kwa Siew Tee on the award of his honorary degree of Law at the University of Malaya on 4 Jul 1951. Mr. Kwa was General Manager of the Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation from [1932] to 1952, and the father of Mrs. Lee Kuan Yew, Mdm. Kwa Geok Choo.
