An Arabic treatise on the magical properties of letters, Taisir al-Matalib fi Asrar al-Huruf

Bound in a stamped red morocco, this treatise on the magical properties of letters is written in Arabic on paper, in 70 folios each with 15 lines of black naskh script. Key words, and some tables and diagrams, are highlighted in red. The colophon bears a date partially written in Persian and partially in numerals – Sha’ban AH 869/Feb-Mar 1465 AD. The author of this work was most active around 1407, and so this manuscript can be considered an early copy.
