Pioneer Industries Employees’ Union (PIEU) was an omnibus (multi-industry) union that represented workers from a range of industries. Together with another omnibus union, the Singapore Industrial Labour Organisation (SILO), PIEU were restructured in 1981 into nine separate industrial unions to serve workers better.
