The Battle Picture Library series was published by Fleetway Publications in the UK. This London based company was founded in 1959. After several mergers, with the last one in 2002, the name Fleetway ceased to be used. The Battle Picture Library series was produced from 1961 to 1984 and has about 1706 issues. This particular book is very useful as it relates to Singapore and the Japanese occupation
