This set of documents is related to the Constitutional Proposals for Malaya, which was drafted by a working committee convened to challenge the Malayan Union. The committee comprised Malay rulers and members of UMNO. This set comprises two booklets – the Constitutional Proposals for Malaya, and the Summary of the Constitutional Proposals for Malaya – as well as two memos – a Statement by the Consultative Committee on the Constitution Proposals and the Covering Note to the Revised Report of the Constitutional Working Committee.
