This porcelain snuff bottle of flattened disc shape is enamelled in the famille verte palette with geese on one side, and on the reverse with a dragon and phoenix. The relative cheapness of porcelain resulted in its wide use for the making of snuff bottles, especially in the 19th century when demand greatly increased.
