This kebaya from the 1960s has circle motifs that were very popular in clothing during that period. It has a very simple design, without lacework or embroidery. The kebaya is a loose open jacket worn by Peranakan women of the Straits Settlements, Indonesia and Indo-European women of the late 19th to 20th century.
