This glass tumbler was produced in commemoration of the proclamation of independence of Malaya on 31 August 1957. The design of the tumbler features a stylised portrait of Malaya’s first Prime Minister Tungku Abdul Rahman, flanked by the UMNO and Malaya flags, with the words “Menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan” (“Celebrate Independence Day”) above.
