This book contains the travel accounts of Howard Malcom, founder of the American Tract Society. Malcom was dispatched from Boston in September 1835 to survey the Baptist missions in South and Southeast Asia. After visiting Burma, Calcutta and Madras, Malcom arrived at Singapore in 19 April 1837 before leaving a month later for Thailand and China. This book contains a folding map and 5 plates, and an advertisement leaf at the end of each volume.
