This wrap-around jacket in rich blue satin silk has a wide collar and edgings made with gold embroidery.This is thought to be a Tai Lue woman's jacket. The style although prevalent amongst many of the Tai groups, is probably influenced by Chinese traditions. Similar pieces have also been found in north and northeast Thailand.
